25 March, Kuala Lumpur - Dato’ Sri Azalina Othman Said, currently being investigated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), has asked Umno delegates voting in the party polls to deem her innocent till proven guilty.
She said that investigations against her should not hinder the delegates from “looking for changes and electing those who can bring about changes”.

17 Mac, Malacca - Former Puteri Umno chief YB Dato’ Sri Azalina Othman Said is unfazed by Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) investigations into allegations of money politics and will continue with her Umno election campaign.
Azalina, who is also Tourism Minister, reiterated that she had yet to be called up by MACC.

15 Mac, Petaling Jaya - Several UMNO leaders have lambasted Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo for alleging that Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was involved in a murder case.
Pahang Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob said it was “nauseating” to see Gobind Singh, a lawyer, hide behind parliamentary immunity to accuse Najib of improprieties when the Altantuya Shaariibuu case was still pending in court.

15 Mac, Kuala Lumpur - Former Puteri Umno chief YB Dato’ Sri Azalina Othman says she now regrets that she got the Puteri girls to agree to a compromise for the Puteri top post in the last party election instead of allowing for a contest.
Asked how she was disappointed with the Puteri movement that she had pioneered which has gone so quiet under the leadership of Datuk Noraini Ahmad, Azalina said “not disappointed - just sad.”

14 Mac, Kuala Lumpur - Tourism Minister YB Dato’ Sri Azalina Othman Said, who has denied that her staff are involved in money politics for the UMNO elections, has no plans to withdraw from the party elections.
“Why would I withdraw? What allegations? Just because MACC (the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) has come to the office (of the Tourism Ministry) doesn’t mean anything,” she said.
